GETULIO VARGAS FOUNDATION Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) is a technical, educational and scientific institution, founded in 1944 with the main objective of researching problems regarding economic issues in Brazil and in the world, and administration issues in public and entrepreneurial niches. The academic structure at FGV comprises nine Schools and Institutions that keep great tradition and intense intellectual production. Several units bear the FGV trademark and follow the same philosophy, that is, to generate and enhance knowledge throughout Brazil. According to the US News Magazine, Irvine is amongst the best American universities. THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO The University of Chicago is one of the pioneers on researching of the world. Cradle of the most famous researchers and intellectuals, from there came more than seventy winners of Prizes Nobel in several fields of study, mainly in the Economic area. ISCTE - LISBOA The partnership with Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa - ISCTE, located in Lisboa - Portugal, has the objective of promoting academic-enterprise and technician-scientific exchange between FGV and ISCTE in social sciences and business areas. The course takes place at Instituto para o Desenvolvimento da Gestão Empresarial - INDEG, associated to ISCTE. INDEG is the best Business School of Portugal, also considered as one of the best of Europe.
